2025 NEPAL DRINKING WATER PROJECT

We returned to Nepal to visit our projects in the Kabilash region and celebrate the completion of the newest water tank. We will traveled to Kathmandu in February. The drive to Kabilash is much improved with paved roads and only tool 2 hours driving North. We have been working in Kabilash since the devastating earthquake in 2015. On this visit we will inspected the upgrades made to the water tank in the school yard, we will funded the purchase and installation of a new water system in Karthok, and we installed plaques on 3 water tanks celebrating our completed projects and honoring the people who have funded our projects over the past 10 years. This was a very special visit to the region as we celebrate the work completed by the people of the village and our lasting friendships.

In addition to visiting the project sites and inspecting the final projects we invited people to join our trip and tour Nepal with our project team. We only had one person sign-up, so we were only a group of four as we visited historical sites around Kathmandu, over-nighted in Pokhara and visited the Sarangkot Viewpoint for a spectacular sunset view of the Annapurna Mountain Range. We spent two nights in Chitwan National Park and went on safari spotting several native birds and wildlife, including a black rhino and baby rhino. Our team delivered (4) donated laptops to the Kabilash school and we delivered 600 feet of water pipe to upgrade a previous project in the region. We are so happy to see the villages prospering and the regional government is now starting to address the water needs of the people. Thank you to everyone who made this work possible and helped improve the lives of over 1,000 people in the region.
