IN SUMMARY

In summary, we installed 3 water filter systems, delivered home water filters for our friends Carlos and Raul, worked with two plumbers who can now install and maintain water filter systems, formed a close relationship with Rev Yohanes, had a meeting with Bishop Griselda, and everyone on our team had a very uplifting, meaningful experience. Most importantly we helped deliver clean drinking water to hundreds of people in Ciego de Avila. We built on our experiences and now have 3 successful projects in Cuba installing a total of 6 filter systems. We still have one system at the Cathedral in Havana waiting to be installed. We have strong relationships with several locals, contacts with plumbers, drivers and hotels in Cuba. We have proven our ability to provide benefits to the local community and we received an A PLUS from Cuban government inspectors. We will coordinate our future Cuba efforts through the Friends of the Episcopal Church of Cuba (FECC) and we hope to return to Cuba soon. Several people have expressed a desire to join our future efforts and our relationship with USA equipment manufacturers is gaining strength as we continue to demonstrate our ability and commitment to help being clean drinking water to struggling communities. THANK YOU! GRACIAS! To everyone who made this project possible, supported our efforts, helped make travel arrangements, watched our homes, cared for our pets, collected our mail, contributed financially and prayed for us. We could not accomplish any of this without our selfless volunteers who give their time, effort and pay their own way to participate on these amazing projects.
